IT’S ME is AL99 at his most complete, vulnerable, and unapologetic — an 18-track journey through the experiences that shaped the man, the artist, and the mindset behind the name.

More than an album, IT’S ME is a life story told in chapters. From pain and uncertainty to ambition, perseverance, self-discovery, and victory, AL99 retraces the road that brought him here without hiding the scars collected along the way. Each record represents another piece of that evolution: the battles fought internally and externally, the sacrifices behind the dream, the pursuit of something greater, the realities of the music industry, the importance of family and loyalty, and the lessons that can only be learned by living through them.

The journey begins with “WELCOME (MR. BEALE)”, opening the door to the person behind AL99 before moving into the conflict of “WAR IN MUSIC.” Records like “ADDICTIVE VISIONS,” “GUAP,” “AGAIN,” “MADE OF,”and “LIFE I CHOSE” explore hunger, temptation, resilience, purpose, and the consequences that come with choosing an uncommon path. At the center sits the title track, “IT’S ME” — a declaration of identity and acceptance of everything that created the person standing here today.

From there, the album digs even deeper. “ASHES,” “WHO WITH ME,” “BACK TO BASICS,” “TEFLON,” “INDUSTRY,” and “LEARN” confront survival, loyalty, betrayal, growth, and the realities encountered while turning a dream into a life. By the time “LIFE,” “GOAT,” and “WHAT’S MY NAME” arrive, reflection has transformed into conviction. The struggle hasn't been erased; it has become fuel.

The journey closes with “SUPERDUPER (Remix)” featuring The Legendary Smooth B, connecting generations of hip-hop while representing another piece of what AL99 has fought to build — honoring what came before while confidently stepping into what comes next.

But IT’S ME was never intended to belong to AL99 alone.

Behind the specific names, places, victories, losses, and memories are emotions shared by countless people: being doubted, losing people along the way, fighting through circumstances nobody else fully understands, questioning yourself, chasing something others cannot see yet, learning from mistakes, protecting the people you love, and refusing to let your circumstances determine how your story ends.

AL99 tells his story so somebody else can hear their own inside of it.

IT’S ME is for the grinders, the dreamers, the misunderstood, the overlooked, the ones carrying pain quietly, and the ones still fighting for the life they know they're capable of creating. It is an album about becoming — about looking at every scar, every mistake, every lesson, every sacrifice, and every victory and realizing that none of it was wasted.

This is where the pain meets the purpose.
Where the struggle meets the triumph.
Where the past meets the man it created.
